Apple Tree, a Hangman-like word game for kids, can now be enjoyed on your iPhone or the iPod Touch!
With vibrant graphics and a simplistic design, your kids will be drawn to the challenge of trying to guess the hidden word before all the apples fall from the tree. Each incorrect letter guess results in an apple falling from the tree. The game is over when all the apples have fallen. With Apple Tree, your child will be exposed to spelling skills and vocabulary education in a fun and delightful manner!
When the game is over and the hidden word is revealed, your child can tap on the question mark icon to see the word’s definition -- a great way to build his or her vocabulary!
Apple Tree contains many different word lists, ranging from Common Words, Animals, Fairy Tale Characters, 1st grade, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, 4th grade, 5th grade, to 6th grade
A two player mode is also available so that children can pick a word for their friends to guess.

I really like this version of Hangman. Above and beyond the child friendly aspects, I like that it has grade level appropriate word listings and two player mode which none of the other Hangman games have.
Perfect for a game on the go.

Very nice app. Performs well, love the dictionary feature and two player feature. Have 6 kids that have all given it five stars.
My son *loves* this game. Great for beginning spelling skills. And I really like that its a tree with falling apples rather than the traditional more violent and controversial hanging man. Thanks!
This was simple, my 8 year old cousin figured it out instantaneously and was occupied for hours. Its also educational.
Some bad moments
My child is starting first grade and an above average reader but got frustrated while playing this game.
This is a great app. However, I am noticing when my son is playing the game there is no sound, nothing to tell him what letter he pushed, or when the word is done, no voice will tell you what the word is. To me this is a crucial step in learning, especially when a child with special needs, like autism learn best with the audio, and visual working side by side. This application only received two stars from me because of the lack of audio which it needs.
I have also downloaded it 4 times, and restored my iPad, to ensure it wasnt my iPad messing it up. Still having issues with it, if there is a glitch.
